I always thought it should be something like SBA: Sarcastic Bastards Anonymous. "Good evening. My name is Ted, and I'm a Sarcastic Bastard. It's been three days since I said to someone, 'I didn't actually think it was possible to BE that stupid. Thank you for opening my horizons.'"

With me, it's question of name recognition.
I think more know me as ChiefReason than they do as Art Goodrich.
Well, so much for anonymity.
Actually, I have been using them interchangeably for some time.
It was advice given to me by a sage webmaster.
I write better as ChiefReason.
Art Goodrich seems to stumble on his words a little.

Anonymity is a huge benefit on the internet; it allows you to speak freely, especially if you have issues for which unfair retribution would occur for your saying your piece. But like any weapon, anonymity comes with some responsibility: the responsibility to use it wisely, to not hurt people when it isn't justified, and by speaking truth, not innuendo. I think you are fine where you are, but I've seen a hint or two lately. Thanks for reading.

Trolls....I love it!

Another great post. That whole anonymity thing really gets to me. Although I am somewhat of a hypocrite on Fire Critic, which will end soon enough for the ones who have not been following along close enough to read between the lines about who I actually am.

The whole reason for me not using my name to this point isn't because I am hiding behind anything. It has been a deliberate attempt to get people to read my posts and not focus on who is saying it but what is being said.

I for one am one of those guys who love sarcasm. I have a hard time writing with it all the time because so many people don't get it. Bunch of squares.

Zen Master:
The fact that you are a parent willing to help to teach your child and the fact that the child is receptive to your teaching AND the fact that you can both sit down together in a harmonious setting to accomplish a common goal shows alot of character in both of you.
Children seem to be pulling away from their parents because of social networking and different societal issues than when we grew up.
It's nice to still see social networking between children and parents.
Thanks for the English lesson too.
